More News About Brandy & Ma$e
Many of you have been sending me email about the validity of Ma$e and Brandy's relationship. Many of you have told me that Brandy came on Hot97 claiming that her and Ma$e were nothing more than "friends." I'm not familiar with Hot97, so therefore, I didn't hear new development. But I do believe think that because of all the mediaplay Brandy is getting from the release of her new album, she may feel that she needs some space for her personal life, and therefore wants to keep the relationship between her and Ma$e private for the time being. It is possible that they may not be a couple, that they may have been for a few weeks and then broke up, but the write up in Vibe magazine contradicts what happened on hot97, because Brandy said it herself, and her mother backed it up and also said that she approves of her daughter dating the rap star. Since there has been so much hype over this issue, I have set up a poll. Click

Ma$e and Brandy Are A Couple
The rumors you have been hearing are now true. Bad Boy recording artist Ma$e, and R&B singer Brandy and now "a couple." The rumors were confirmed in this month's issue of Vibe magazine. The article has a cartoon image of Ma$e and Brandy sharing a soda together. Even though Brandy was just engaged to be married to Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men, she's with another guy now, and that's Ma$e. Personally, I think she just "wants to be down" with Bad Boy Entertainment and is using Ma$e just to get what she wants, whatever that is. She's trying to get back her good girl image, after there were reports that her and Aaliyah were rivals and she was acting fake towards Aaliyah.

Mase
Does Duet with Brandy; Forms His Own Record Label
Brandy and Mase teamed up on the 4th of this month to do a duet together on the MTV Movie Awards. The name of the song is "Top Of The World," and it will be appearing on Brandy's upcoming album. The two artists have also shot a clip for the song to promote it.
Also, Mase has formed his own record label called "All Out Records." As of right now, he has a group called "Harlem World" as his first signing to the label. Mase is a part of this group, and also another New York rapper, Cam'Ron are a few names of the members. The group signed a production deal with Jermaine Dupri, and J.D. and Puffy both plan to produce tracks for the group's album.

Mase's
New Group, "Harlem World" Gets Deal With Dupri
CEO of So So Def Records, Jermaine Dupri has put it in writing. He has given a production deal to Mase's new group, "Harlem World."
This group got it's name from Mase's debut album, "Harlem World," and to describe them, you could call them a decent replica of Wyclef's Refugee All-Stars. But this new group aren't wannabes, in fact, they have a style all their own, inclulding new-comer, and Mase's sister, Statson, along with several others.
There is no knowledge of when their debut album will hit stores, but a press conference should be held to officially announce the deal in a few weeks.
If you still can't get enough of Mase, you can catch up with him along with other artists like Usher, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, and others on Jermaine Dupri's new solo debut, "Life in 1472."

Mase
Tells His Side Of The Story
In an exclusive interview with Sister 2 Sister Radio, Mase tells his side of the story about what really happened on the night of April 16th, 1998 when the rapper was arrested in New York City.
During the interview, Mase tells the interviewer that he was going towards the Hit Factory after leaving Sean "Puffy" Comb's Manhattan studio. En route to the Hit Factory, Mase says he pulled his new Mercedes up to a red light in the middle of town where a crowd was gathering outside a restaurant. Then, the rapper states that he was all of a sudden, surrounded by cops.
So, Mase was arrested on a charge of patronizing a prostitute. He later plead to disorderly conduct, and was ordered to pay a $200 fine. He continued the interview by telling them that he didn't talk to anyone near the car that night, and described himself as a "laid back gentleman." "I don't pursue women," Mase told Sister 2 Sister, "they pursue me. And I really ain't going to pursue something I got to pay for."
Even though the incident was just a big misunderstanding, and the fact that he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, he still admitted that he was a little upset, but just shrugged it off as part of the price of fame, and just said it was just another example of his everyday run-ins with "Mo' Money, Mo Problems."
